Every now and then, I sit down with no plan, no tutorial, no reference sheet — just pure practice and the drive to get better. This is one of those pieces.
This stylized male anatomy sculpt is my latest personal study, completed in roughly 4 hours from start to finish. No tutorial followed. No step-by-step breakdown to share. Just me, my sculpting software, and a genuine push to improve my understanding of the human form.

About This Sculpt
The goal with this piece was straightforward — practice anatomy. Specifically, I wanted to challenge myself on the upper body: the chest, shoulders, abdominals, and the way muscles flow naturally into each other. The stylized approach allowed me to push proportions slightly beyond realism while still grounding everything in actual anatomical structure.
The character has a clean, heroic look — broad shoulders, defined musculature, and a strong silhouette. The face carries a subtle cartoon-like quality, which I enjoy balancing against more realistic body proportions. It’s a style I’m actively developing, and this sculpt is a snapshot of where I am right now in that journey.
The multiple views in the render — front, side, three-quarter, and close-ups — were captured to help me (and you) evaluate the form from all angles, which is something I always recommend when reviewing your own work.

Why Anatomy Practice Matters
Whether you’re sculpting for games, films, collectibles, or just personal growth, anatomy is the foundation everything else is built on. Even the most highly stylized characters are grounded in real-world skeletal and muscular systems — you truly cannot break the rules until you understand them. Hi3D
This sculpt is part of that ongoing process for me. Every session teaches something new — a muscle group I hadn’t thought about deeply enough, a proportion that felt off until I studied it more, a silhouette that only reads well when the underlying structure is solid.
